Halloween

Let me apologize first for such a long post. It just kept growing and growing. We had a busy week. William has been celebrating Halloween for a few days. First at school on Friday. I think it was one of the cutest things I have seen. The entire school goes trick or treating together. I was so excited to be able to be a classroom mom, I made cookies, witches hats and ghosts.

It is so easy. To make the ghost, get Nutter Butter cookies, dip in white chocolate and put two black dots, with icing, for eyes.

To make the witches hats, get Fudge Strips cookies, turn on complete chocolate side, take a Hersey kiss and put a little chocolate icing on bottom, then stick on the middle of cookie. Then make a ring of orange icing around kiss and then a bow.

Here are some pictures from school. William was not happy about putting the lion head on. But once he saw his friend, Emma, he got happy and gave her a hug. Too cute!!

Elmo is William's friend Aiden. Apparently they beat each other up all day long. It took me a little while to get use to this.

Thankfully Emma's mother let William ride in her wagon. George was ready to go home. He said those kids are way too loud. He likes it nice and quiet at home with his mommy. He is a demanding child already!

My mom and dad arrived Sunday afternoon. They move into their apartment on Monday. I am so excited to have them here. George in his Halloween costume, thank you MiMi and Popi.

Mom called me last week and asked if it was o.k. to get William this roller coaster for his birthday. I said sure and a few days later it arrived on our front step. Well, Pop could not wait until December for William's birthday so it was opened yesterday. If William could say anything I know he would be thanking Pop. He loved this thing.

He would ride it, saying Wheeeee!!! Then get off push it back up and down again he would go, over and over and over again. He even loved playing in the box it came in. He took all of Brewer's toys inside and would not let Brewer in.

He loved trick or treating. We went over to the neighborhood next to us. It is like right out of a movie. The houses are beautiful, the trees looked perfect and there are kids and families everywhere.

Is this not the sweetest picture!!!!

William was not afraid to walk right up to people's houses.

This neighborhood goes all out. Is he not the cutest lion?? And he would even growl.
