A Country Star in the Making

Swim Lessons

This summer William and George took swim lessons.  You might say that directory was a little strict, harsh, (fill in the blank)!  But from the videos below you can see that it worked.  We will be back again this summer.

Lunch Box

When I picked William up from school Tuesday, one of his teachers pulled me aside and said, "If you could pack William a little more variety in his lunch box that would be great." (aka: you are a crappy mom!)  "He asks for the other kids food, today I had to share some of my apple with him."  So now my kid is that kid.

So I went to the grocery and got a smorgasbord of stuff to pack.  This was my conversation with William this morning:
Me: William do you want a cookie in your lunch box. **Normally I would not have asked, I would have just packed, but he has not been eating his cookies lately.

William: Yes, and an apple.
Me: Well do you want apple sauce or an apple?
W: Both, and grapes!
Me: I don't have grapes, what about strawberries?
W: Yes, strawberries, and no skin on apple!

Can I say demanding?!?!

Well below is his lunch: Jelly sandwich (no crust), veggie straws, apple sauce, strawberries, carrots, cheese squares, apples (with a little lemon so they do not turn brown), and a cookie.

Now I know why my mom told me to pack my own lunch or eat at school.  We might need a bigger lunch box!

San Francisco

Aunt Susie "Great" and Uncle Wayne "Big Man" gave Rich and I wonderful birthday and Christmas gifts.  They came and took care of the kids and Rich and I got to go on a trip.  So we decided to head out to San Francisco for a few days.  Neither one of us and been.  We had so much fun, I think we saw the entire city.  What we did not walk we biked.  I think I am probably the only person who went on vacation and lost weight.  I left a book, and I do mean a book of notes, on how to keep up with our crazy kids.  And then, as you will see below, a gift for each person each day.

One Dad and Two Boys on a trip...

You would think since I am now a stay and home mom I would have time to do blog post all the time.  But two little boys keep you busy.  I am determined to catch up and keep up though.

In March, Rich took the boys to visit his parents, Pat and Gerry or Mimi and Papi, in Florida.  He let me have some time to myself.  It was so nice to just have some time alone but I was excited to see them.  Here are some pictures from their trip.

Williams 3rd Birthday Party

We just had a fun play party for William's third birthday.  All his friends came over to play and eat pizza and cupcakes.

I loved setting up pictures of the boys over the years for their birthday parties.  It is crazy how fast they grow up.  His party was snowman theme.

For the favor, I had ornaments for the kids. I painted their hands white and had them grab the ornament.  Then later when they dried I made them look like snowman.  They turned out really cute.

I love how excited William was about his cake, he really understood about blowing out the candles.

This is double trouble!!!
