Halloween

Let me apologize first for such a long post. It just kept growing and growing. We had a busy week. William has been celebrating Halloween for a few days. First at school on Friday. I think it was one of the cutest things I have seen. The entire school goes trick or treating together. I was so excited to be able to be a classroom mom, I made cookies, witches hats and ghosts.

It is so easy. To make the ghost, get Nutter Butter cookies, dip in white chocolate and put two black dots, with icing, for eyes.

To make the witches hats, get Fudge Strips cookies, turn on complete chocolate side, take a Hersey kiss and put a little chocolate icing on bottom, then stick on the middle of cookie. Then make a ring of orange icing around kiss and then a bow.

Here are some pictures from school. William was not happy about putting the lion head on. But once he saw his friend, Emma, he got happy and gave her a hug. Too cute!!

Elmo is William's friend Aiden. Apparently they beat each other up all day long. It took me a little while to get use to this.

Thankfully Emma's mother let William ride in her wagon. George was ready to go home. He said those kids are way too loud. He likes it nice and quiet at home with his mommy. He is a demanding child already!

My mom and dad arrived Sunday afternoon. They move into their apartment on Monday. I am so excited to have them here. George in his Halloween costume, thank you MiMi and Popi.

Mom called me last week and asked if it was o.k. to get William this roller coaster for his birthday. I said sure and a few days later it arrived on our front step. Well, Pop could not wait until December for William's birthday so it was opened yesterday. If William could say anything I know he would be thanking Pop. He loved this thing.

He would ride it, saying Wheeeee!!! Then get off push it back up and down again he would go, over and over and over again. He even loved playing in the box it came in. He took all of Brewer's toys inside and would not let Brewer in.

He loved trick or treating. We went over to the neighborhood next to us. It is like right out of a movie. The houses are beautiful, the trees looked perfect and there are kids and families everywhere.

Is this not the sweetest picture!!!!

William was not afraid to walk right up to people's houses.

This neighborhood goes all out. Is he not the cutest lion?? And he would even growl.

Purple, Black and New

William has really gotten into coloring. So I went to Target and got him a BIG coloring book and crayons, markers, colored pencils, well you get the idea. So Friday night Rich and I are getting dinner cleaned up and tending to George and this is what we find:

Not sure why he ate the crayon but he has tried to eat others....

Kristen and Davis came to visit. Here is the little smiley:

Well you cannot see him smiling in the picture, but that was all he did!!!

Here are all the boys together. I think this was the only time WPP was interested in them:

Sweet Rich really did everything with William this weekend so Kristen and I could visit. Sunday he took William to the park and this was how he came home:

William was climbing up a ladder and fell, he was not paying attention. Rich said that once he got him calmed down and cleaned up this is how the conversation went:

Rich: William it is time to go home.

William: NO

Rich: What do you want to do?

William: Ugh, (pointing to the playground)

William wanted to keep playing.

Here is what he looked like this morning:

Rich wants to teach him to say, "Yo, Adrian!"

George is One Month Old

It is crazy that just a few years ago I was praying constantly that God would give me a baby and now I have two. This verse has continued to pop into my head:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

I cannot believe it has already been a month. George it feels like you were just always apart of our family. We love you very much and cannot wait to find out all about you.

A Little Monster

William has decided to join his friends on his shirt and become a little monster. He got the stomach bug Friday, which he has given to Rich. He has decided that he enjoys seeing the sun come up every morning. And he tells us No to everything, even the things he wants. But we still love him very much, not so much at 5:30 a.m.

We might have to make a switch....

Our Dawgs are doing so bad we might have to become Auburn fans for this year. William already is looking pretty handsome in his orange and navy. Thanks "Great" and Big Man for his shoes and thanks Bess for the clothes.

On our Own

My parents left us last Saturday and everyone is still alive. Although, we could not have done it without them. William had a great time with Pop and Smitty. Of course they let him do what ever he wanted. So Rich and I are dealing with a little monster right now. You can see from the pictures below what a great time they had together. The last picture is of William in a tunnel that Smitty got for him. I thought I had a picture of this but she tried to crawl in with him. He loved every minute of it!!!!

Trying to settle in...

So we have made it home. William has done great with George. He is actually not that interested in him. He loves on him every once in awhile and tries to give him a paci.

George had more visitors . Pat and Gerry (Mimi and Poppi) came for the weekend.

I am just going to post a lot of pictures this time. Don't have much time these days :).

George had vistors

"Great" and Big Man came to visit George yesterday. They came with lots of fun gifts and outfits. We did not get a picture, but we did celebrate Aunt Susie's "50th" birthday with a little champagne.

Long time...lots of stuff

Well we might get arrested for child labor. Rich has been working in the yard lately and has put William to work. Unfortunately, William does not understand to spread the grass seed out all over the yard so we have patches of grass.

We went to the zoo Labor Day weekend and had a great time. We really thought William would love the elephants but he was more interested in the airplanes flying over and the big playground that they had.

We also made some play dough over the weekend and had a lot of fun.

Well, I just had a craving for cupcakes with chocolate icing. William must have too.
