I cannot tell you how long it takes to get four babies lathered up with sunscreen, beach bags packed, coolers packed, toys packed and all down to the beach. We had some great baby sitters that helped.
Taylor and William ready to play in the sand!
Taylor: "William, what are you doing?"
William: "Checking out the ladies!"
Taylor: "Well, if you do not get out from under the umbrella, you are going to blind them with your porcelain white skin."
So before we did the above, this is what happened. We were getting sunscreen on the kids. When Taylor offered to help.
She got William in the headlock (not the last time this happened this week) and rubbed it all over his face. We still had not gotten bathing suits on them yet.
William helping Taylor.
They got really tickled by the whole thing and started dancing and laughing all over the place. It was hysterical.
John loving on his babies.
This is the face we got every time we told William we wanted to take a picture.
We had to bribe William to sit on the bench and take the above picture. See below his bribe.
Have you ever seen a cuter sweet potato face!
George crawled up to see if there were any left overs.
Rich getting a little air!
Like Father like Son.
This is what William would do every time he got out of the pool. There were these two holes in the cement, I guess where another ladder had been at some point, William would get the water coming off his bathing suit to go into the holes. It looked like he was pee peeing. We got some strange looks!
Rawlings outfit and George's bathing suit matched. It took Susan and I almost all day before we realized this!
We saw so many dolphins going by and the kids loved it! They would get so excited each time they saw one!
It was so nice having the pool to jump into. The ocean water got a little cold. Taylor is such a good swimmer. She and William must have jumped off these steps a 100 times.
Rich keeps calling George "Buck Teeth"!
It was so much fun watching these two play!
How beautiful are these two.
So we went to do our annual family picture. My mom had made the kids outfits. William and Taylor were not that interested in getting a great picture.
Taylor: "William, lets play catch."
William: "OK, you cannot catch me!"
Taylor: "Oh yes I can."
William: "You got my sandy."
William: "NOOOOO!"
Taylor helping Rawlings. At least someone appreaciated her help. George would have, check out Susan's blog with pictures of the same night.
She might be mischievous, but she sure is adorable!
Another year down! We had so much fun!
The picture below is from our first trip. Look at how our families and children have grown.
